A positive start for the KCETB Community of Practice, with a clear focus on initiating and sustaining change in the leadership of teaching and learning in schools.

A Community of Practice (CoP) was established for participating KCETB schools registered for IL Cohort 17.

Aligned with this development, research will be undertaken by Dr Pauline Egan, Dr Sharon Coffey and Joan Russell, to examine the impact of engagement in a CoP on teachers’ learning within the ILP.

The findings will further inform how instructional leadership teams at school level can be supported to develop, implement, and share effective practice.
