Research examining the impact of the Instructional Leadership Programme (ILP)

The study explores how participation in ILP has influenced post-primary teachers’ individual and collective professional practice, as well as student engagement and achievement. 

This is an important research study, commissioned by ETBI and being undertaken independently by researchers at Dublin City University.  The research is being led by Dr Barry Morrissey, and the findings will play an important role in shaping the future direction of the programme and in positioning the ILP within the wider literature on professional learning for teachers.

We are hoping for a high response rate to ensure that the findings accurately reflect the impact of ILP.
